Broccoli Salad

Ingredients
8 ounces Bacon
Salt for blanching
5 cups Broccoli florets
1 cup Mayonaise
1 tablespoon Cider vinegar
1/3 cup Chopped onion
1/4 cup Sugar
3/4 cup Rasins
1/2 cup Sunflower kernels

Step by Step Instructions
  1. Cut the bacon into small pieces and cook it until it is crispy.
  2. Blanch the broccoli in a pot of salted water, boiling it for about 3 minutes, draining the water and rinsing it off.
  3. Combine the mayonnaise, vinegar, onion, sugar and raisins in a separate bowl. Add the broccoli and toss them together until the broccoli is well coated. Refrigerate the salad for 1 hour.
  4. Add the bacon pieces and sunflower kernels just before serving.
